Journee Cotton
Journee Cotton is a second year PhD student researcher at the University of Exeter studying English. She received bachelor degrees from Lubbock Christian University in English with an emphasis in Literature and Humanities with an emphasis in Law and a master’s degree in English Literature specialising in the Victorian and Romantic periods at the University of Bristol. Her current field of study considers environmental bioethics as a framework. She worked as a facilitator on the University of Exeter Grand Challenges Facilitator – Climate and Environment Emergency Challenge – Climate Communication focus group (2022). She presented work at numerous conferences this past summer including Exeter’s Exclamat!on conference (2022). She is interested in bioethics, ecology, Victorian literature, and the representation of the body in literature.
