Cristina Crizbasan
I am a 4th year PhD student in the Classics and Ancient History department. My research focuses on the idea of identity and the ways it changes and adapts when people move abroad. I am exploring this through the particular case study of moving auxiliary units in the Roman Empire about 2000 years ago. During my PhD, I have also developed an interest in academic writing since English is not my first language. Ever since, I have participated in multiple workshops and courses to develop my skills and now I find joy in sharing with others the tips that I find most useful and that I wish I knew myself earlier on in my research journey.
