Rebecca Howarth

Rebecca is a PhD student at the Institute of Arab and Islamic Studies, University of Exeter. Her research is focused on the British Council and culture in Palestine in the mid-twentieth century. She uses interdisciplinary approaches as well as exploring decolonial theory through her work.

Shibani Das

Shibani Das is an Arts and Humanities Research Council – Collaborative Doctoral Programme Doctoral student from New Delhi, India. Her research focuses on race, ethnicity, and telecommunications in Britain and its Empire, 1920-1940. Her work lays heavy emphasis on visual sources and the application of decoloniality in institutions engaged in public history.
